The Philippine Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP) Pangasinan Chapter, in collaboration with MEDTEK, conducted a scientific lecture on ‘Optimizing the Diagnosis and Management of Typhoid Fever in Family Practice’ on September 3 at Lenox Hotel, Dagupan City, Pangasinan. The discussion aimed to educate medical practitioners on the proper and effective diagnosis, management, prevention, and treatment of typhoid fever, a disease that affects about 21 million people annually. Knowing the symptoms and the science behind of every disease is insufficient without an effective diagnosis method. MEDTEK proudly endorsed its Typhoid TF Rapid Typhoid Detection product capable of detecting infections caused by Salmonella typhi.
